"Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Sa’ar have, in recent months, been working to expand the Abraham Accords beyond the Sunni Arab world. Azerbaijan—a secular nation with a Shiite Muslim majority—is viewed as a first candidate for this expansion," reports Israeli radio Kol Be-Rama, the mouthpiece of the religious party SHAS, which is part of the current coalition.
