Israeli media unveils details of Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to Azerbaijan

Focus on Abraham Accords, Israel-Turkey Mediation, and U.S. Alliance

According to the Israeli newspaper Maariv, Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is expected to arrive in Baku for a diplomatic visit aimed at "promoting Azerbaijan’s integration into the Abraham Accords, exploring (Baku’s) mediation efforts between Israel and Turkey amid tensions over Syria" and "strengthening the trilateral alliance with the United States (U.S.-Azerbaijan-Israel)."

As part of the visit, the Prime Minister is also "expected to meet with leaders of the Jewish communities in Azerbaijan, led by Rabbi Zamir Isayev, and to learn about the flourishing Jewish life in the country," notes the website of the Israeli media group Israel National News – Arutz Sheva.
