Egyptian expert: Azerbaijan-Israel alliance raises concerns in Iran

"The alliance between Azerbaijan and Israel is a major source of concern for Iran," said Saeed Al-Sabbagh, an Egyptian expert on Iranian affairs, in an interview with the Emirati news outlet Erem News.

He mentioned "several Israeli operations targeting Iran’s nuclear program, including assassinations, as well as Israel’s seizure of 11,000 Iranian nuclear documents—an achievement Netanyahu proudly showcased at the UN General Assembly a few years ago." Al-Sabbagh expressed his expectation of "continued cooperation between Israel and Azerbaijan on this matter."
