Jewish community leader: In Azerbaijan, we freely practice our faith

"Imagine this - we have been on this land (Azerbaijan) for over 25 centuries. Yet we have not only preserved our national and spiritual values and our centuries-old traditions, but we have also enriched them... In Azerbaijan, we freely practice our beliefs and offer our prayers to God... We have cherished this holiday throughout the centuries, just like all our other celebrations, because it represents freedom," Milikh Yevdayev, Chairman of the Mountain Jews Religious Community in Azerbaijan, told local news channel AnewZ.
