Iranian expert: Israel uses Azerbaijan to spy on Iran

"The greatest obstacle to peace in the Caucasus is Israel. The region must remain tense so that Israel can spy on Iran’s border under the pretext of safeguarding Baku’s security during wartime. The solution to this problem is either to give Israel a proper slap or to create a credible threat against it through other actors. Then we will compete with them in the Caucasus," wrote Iranian political analyst Ehsan Movahedian, known for his anti-Azerbaijani and anti-Israeli views, on his X account.
