Armenpress: Discussions on Section 907 are scheduled for late April

“We can’t rule out that Azerbaijan might acquire some specific weapons from the U.S.,” said Armenian military expert David Arutyunov in an interview with the state agency Armenpress.

Arutyunov recalled that Section 907, which restricts direct U.S. military assistance to Azerbaijan, was introduced largely due to Armenian lobbying. However, he noted that the Trump administration has shown interest in expanding American arms exports and may disregard the restriction if new market opportunities arise.

According to Armenpress, "new discussions regarding Section 907 are scheduled for late April and are particularly relevant in light of Azerbaijan’s ongoing armament efforts."
