Iranian media: Shiite religious leader condemns Azerbaijan for supporting Israel

“Hojatoleslam Bejani (Ruhollah Bejani) sharply criticized Islamic governments such as Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which claim to support Palestine but, in reality, provide financial benefits to the Zionist regime (Israel),” reports the Iranian news agency Rasa, which covers the activities of the Shiite clergy.

Ruhollah Bejani serves as the head of the Coordination Council of Ansar-e Hezbollah, a conservative military-political organization in Iran. He is also the director of a Shiite seminary in Tabriz, located in the northwest of the Islamic Republic. Bejani is actively involved in both the religious and political spheres of the country.
