"The President of Azerbaijan expressed optimism regarding the talks between Turkey and Israel on Syria," according to the Israeli state channel Kan 11.

A source familiar with the matter told Kan 11: “Preventing a conflict between Turkey and Israel in Syria is possible. Each of them can protect its interests in Syria. Those who would benefit from a conflict between Israel and Turkey are Iran and Russia.”
