Financial Times: U.S. took part in the Israel–Turkey meeting hosted by Azerbaijan

"The first round of “deconfliction” talks were hosted by Azerbaijan on Wednesday (April 9) and attended by senior Israeli and Turkish security officials. A person familiar with the matter said US representatives were also involved in the meeting... The meeting came after US President Donald Trump met Netanyahu at the White House on Monday (April 7) and offered to mediate between the pair," Financial Times reports.

On April 10, The Jerusalem Post noted: "Baku’s role may be helpful, and combining it with Trump’s interest in patching up Israel-Turkey differences, many wheels may be in motion."
