Azerbaijan`s Minister of Digital Development and Transport visits Israel

"As part of our visit to Israel, we met with Minister of Transport and Road Safety Miri Regev. We discussed the potential of transit between the countries, cooperation in the field of air transport, opportunities for transporting cargo by roads, and prospects for cooperation in the development of human capital in the transport sector. We exchanged views on studying Israel's advanced experience in road safety and smart traffic management systems," wrote Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, on his X account on April 7.

On April 8, Rashad Nabiyev reported via his X account about his meeting with Israel’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Gila Gamliel. "We discussed cooperation... in areas such as innovation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, space. We invited Israeli tech companies to open offices in Azerbaijan and establish knowledge-based manufacturing facilities, IT training centers, and a Center of Excellence in high technologies. As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two countries on the cooperation in the field of science," Nabiyev underlined.
