On April 3, during an event celebrating Armenian-Iranian friendship, Puya Hosseini, the head of the Armenian-Iran Cooperation Development Fund, emphasized the growing need for security cooperation between Iran and Armenia (24News).

"The security of our countries is interdependent," Hosseini stated. "In our region, we face the same adversary, and through security cooperation, we must strengthen the security in the region to restore a 'victorious' balance. Iran and Armenia can sign agreements on arms supplies to Iran, provide consultations, and share intelligence. Iran is also ready to offer Armenia the necessary support," he added.

Hosseini also highlighted the increasing security challenges Iran faces, particularly after the arrival of the Trump administration: "This could give Azerbaijan a reason to attack Armenia... together with Israel, which has been supplying weapons to Azerbaijan for years. This weaponry is directed not only against Armenia but also against Iran. If Iran's security weakens, a second front could emerge against Iran from the South Caucasus."
