Lebanese newspaper: Israel, the U.S., and Azerbaijan are forming an alliance against Iran

"While U.S. President Donald Trump entices Iran with offers of negotiations, his ally Israel is quietly working to encircle and pressure Tehran through its northern neighbor, Azerbaijan — preparing either for a military strike or for security and sabotage operations if necessary. This strategy takes advantage of Baku’s location on Iran’s border. This time, Tel Aviv has chosen to bring the confrontation into the very heart of the Islamic Republic by forming an alliance that is currently taking shape and includes the United States, Israel, and Azerbaijan," writes the Lebanese online newspaper Al Modon.
