Azerbaijani analyst comments on Trump envoy’s visit to Baku

Azerbaijani political analyst Rashad Rzaquliyev shared his thoughts on U.S. Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff’s visit to Baku during a broadcast on Caliber.Az:

"I believe Mr. Witkoff is not just a special envoy or an official representative — he is one of Donald Trump’s closest associates, someone who has worked with him for 40 years, communicated with him, and been friends with him… I think this visit was symbolic… We can assume that Azerbaijan, with its diplomatic resources, might play a role in relations with Russia. I believe that could even be one of the key elements of this type of relationship… with Turkey, undoubtedly, with Israel, undoubtedly as well… Some are talking about the possibility of a strategic U.S.-Israel-Azerbaijan alliance. Is it possible? It’s debatable — but given the current situation, it is within the realm of possibility," Rzaquliyev said.
