Former aide to Azerbaijani President: with the Turkic world, the Abraham Accords could take on an entirely different meaning

Eldar Namazov, political analyst and former aide to Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev, in an interview with the Israeli online channel ITON-TV:

“The Abraham Accords — with the Arab world, that was one thing, but with the Turkic world, they could take on an entirely different meaning. These are not countries with which Israel has major issues that need to be resolved — especially when it comes to Azerbaijan… This is more in line with the idea of a Eurasian NATO… In this context, Israel, the United States, and the Turkic world — if their efforts, energy, and resources could be channeled into this direction — would represent a very significant vector in global geopolitics."
