Witkoff's visit to Baku comes amid Washington's threats to take action against Iran's nuclear facilities

The meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and U.S. presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff is aimed at "strengthening partnership and coordination between the US, Israel, and Azerbaijan on regional issues," Israeli government sources told Ynet. It is also noted that "Witkoff's visit to Baku comes amid Washington's threats to take action against Iran's nuclear facilities."
