Israel Hayom: Israel helped to coordinate the U.S. Presidential Envoy’s visit to Baku

The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, owned by one of the largest donors to Donald Trump’s election campaign, has confirmed —following our publication —that Israel was involved in coordinating today’s visit to Baku by US presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff. According to Israel Hayom, "Israel coordinated this visit." It is also reported that Witkoff will be received by President Aliyev.

The newspaper also noted that on March 5, the Israeli government announced its cooperation with the U.S. to establish a trilateral partnership between America, Israel, and Azerbaijan.
