RealClearDefense: Iran has intensified intelligence operations and terror activities in Azerbaijan

"The Iranian security services may have additional objective in disrupting Israel’s relations with its neighbors and undoing the security cooperation resulting from years of covert diplomacy and cemented in Donald Trump’s first-term achievement, the Abraham Accords... Iran has targeted Azerbaijani Jews in Israel to advance espionage, sabotage, and terror interests, likely with the hopes of producing tensions with Azerbaijan. Similarly, Iran in recent years has increased intelligence gathering and terror efforts in Azerbaijan itself," according to the RealClearDefense website, created at the request of the Pentagon and the House Armed Services Committee.
