"Pro-Israel forces in the US must assess Azerbaijan through the lens of regional and strategic security (of Israel) rather than blindly following anti-Azerbaijani narratives. Unsurprisingly, certain Armenian groups and Iranian influence agents are behind the dissemination of anti-Azerbaijani narratives," according to Israeli professor Ze’ev Khanin and reserve military intelligence officer Alex Greenberg.
They are co-authors of two policy papers published in January and February by the think tank The Begin–Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (BESA), which initiated a broad discourse in the media of Israel, the U.S., India, Iran, and Armenia regarding Azerbaijan's significance in the regional security architecture of the Jewish state.
