Rabbi Marvin Hier asked Trump to include Azerbaijan in the Abraham Accords framework

Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, has sent a letter to President Donald Trump, asking him to include Azerbaijan in the Abraham Accords framework. "I respectfully urge you to engage with Azerbaijan’s leadership and take this bold step toward a stronger, more united region", wrote Hier, who was named the most influential rabbi in America by Newsweek.

Rabbi Hier, who spoke at Trump's inauguration ceremony in 2017, has a history of peacemaking. He served as a mediator in talks between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and King Hussein of Jordan.
