Israel is an important intelligence provider for Azerbaijan

Intelligence Online, a mouthpiece of the French intelligence services, stated: "Tel Aviv is an important intelligence provider for Baku and also a major supplier of military technology. Baku in exchange has allowed Israel to use its territory for more than a decade as an important hub for its clandestine operations in Iran."

The BESA think tank, in its policy paper containing recommendations for the Trump administration on forming a trilateral alliance (Azerbaijan-Israel-USA), emphasized: "Azerbaijan is one of Israel’s key partners in countering Iran. Both countries view the Ayatollah regime as an existential threat and have been cooperating in this context for many years."
