A member of the Armenian pro-Russian party proposed to conclude an alliance with Iran

During a press conference held today as part of the 35th congress of the pro-Russian opposition ARFD (Armenian Revolutionary Federation–Dashnaktsutyun) party, Armen Rustamyan, a member of the ARFD Bureau, proposed establishing a military-political alliance with Iran.

“A military-political alliance with Iran should be concluded immediately, on the grounds that an attack on one country constitutes an attack on the other, thus making defense a genuinely mutual guarantee between Iran and Armenia.” (24News)
