Azerbaijan's unique experience in Muslim-Jewish cooperation can be used to extend the Abraham Accords

“Azerbaijan’s unique conceptual and practical experience in Muslim-Jewish cooperation… can be used to extend the Abraham Accords to other non-Arab Muslim countries in the Middle East, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and Africa. Crucially, the UAE, one of the architects and key participants in the Abraham Accords, is also Azerbaijan’s top partner in the Arab world” (Algemeiner, a Jewish newspaper in America).

Addressing the Knesset on March 5, Simon Moshiashvili, a member of the Shas party, which is part of Netanyahu's government, announced in coordination with the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel: "It is desirable and crucial to turn the model of close relations between Israel and this Muslim-Shiite state into a model for the expansion of the Abraham Accords (planned by the Trump administration). To reinforce this model, it may be appropriate to include Azerbaijan in the Abraham Accords framework."
