The U.S. and Israel are reinforcing their cooperation, while Iran seeks to counter their influence. United States Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth discussed bilateral interests and security cooperation with Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, reaffirming U.S. support for Israel and addressing the Iranian threat to regional security.

Meanwhile, one of the mouthpieces of the Iranian regime, the newspaper Iran Daily, has called for “strengthening the alliance with Armenia as a countermeasure to curb Israeli and U.S. influence in the Caucasus," according to the Israeli news website Kikar.
