Azerbaijan actively attracts Israeli tourists

Azerbaijan is actively working to attract Israeli tourists through government support, marketing campaigns, and new direct routes, although Israelis remain unwelcome in many countries following the outbreak of the war between Hamas and Israel. This was reported by the Qatari newspaper Al Araby Al Jadeed.

A policy paper by the BESA think tank, focusing on Azerbaijan’s special role as one of the pillars of Israel’s regional security architecture, emphasized: "Even when most of the Western airlines suspended flights to Israel, Azerbaijan’s state-owned airline continued operating flights with only brief interruptions, and Israeli tourist flow to Azerbaijan increased by 50%."
